The Bursar of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Malam Ibrahim Abdullahi, has attained the prestigious rank of Fellow Certified National Accountant (FCNA) of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).
Malam Abdullahi was formally admitted as a Fellow of the professional body after satisfying the conditions prescribed by the ANAN Council. His fellowship was conferred on 10 September 2026, according to the Certificate of Fellowship issued by the Association.
The elevation represents a significant milestone in the professional career of the SAZU Bursar and further underscores his commitment to professional development, excellence and sound financial management.
As the University’s chief financial officer, the Bursar plays a critical role in the administration of the institution’s financial resources, budgeting, accounting and financial reporting, in accordance with relevant regulations and established standards.
The attainment of the FCNA designation is therefore regarded as a notable professional accomplishment, particularly as Malam Ibrahim Abdullahi continues to contribute his experience and expertise to the financial administration of Sa’adu Zungur University.
