The Bauchi State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has congratulated Comrade Isaiah Kemje Benjamin on his re-election as National President, urging the new leadership to sustain efforts towards improving the welfare of sports journalists.
The chapter, in a congratulatory message signed by its Chairman, Bala Bawaji, and Secretary, Elizabeth Kah, also extended its best wishes to all newly elected members of the National Executive Council and other officials who emerged at the Triennial Delegates Congress held in Kaduna State.
According to Bauchi SWAN, Benjamin’s re-election reflects the confidence reposed in his leadership by delegates and his commitment to the development of the association.
The chapter expressed confidence that the new administration would build on its achievements by strengthening SWAN, protecting the interests of its members and creating better opportunities for sports journalists across the country.
Bauchi SWAN wished Benjamin and the entire NEC a successful tenure and pledged its support for initiatives aimed at advancing sports journalism in Nigeria.
