Court Restrains NAF From Evicting Residents of Bauchi Housing Estate

The Bauchi State High Court, presided over by Justice Mu’azu Abubakar, has granted an interim injunction restraining the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) from evicting residents of 270 housing units under the National Housing Programme (NHP) in Bauchi State.

The ruling followed a motion filed by Barrister Alkassim Mohammed, counsel to the plaintiffs, in Suit No. BA/158M/2025, urging the court to halt what he described as a violation of the fundamental human rights of the residents.
